We spent our last night in Canada at Sydney Spit, which is a low lying island off Sydney, BC.
Went ashore for a nice stroll around the island, which is now a nature preserve.
At one time the island had a brick making operation. Lots of rejects still litter the beach near the site of the kilns that were used to bake the local clay into bricks:
No Dungies, but lots of rock crab. The area looked seriously overfished by the commercial crab guys.
