Octopus Islands, August 28th

The anchorage at Octopus Islands was an overnight stop in the middle of the passes to allow us to time our transits for slack water through a couple of rapids on our way to desolation sound. We hit the rapids at Okisollo Channel at slack and headed into Waiatt Bay behind the Octopus Islands.


This is a nice easy, large anchorage with room for lots of boats. Sue and Mim went for a hike on shore (I was the shuttle driver) while I chilled out on the boat.
