Forward Harbor, August 26th

Our friend Mim joined the crew for 7 days of cruising between Port McNeill and Desolation Sound. So nice to have her onboard and spend quality time catching up on life and enjoying tasty, simple recipes she shared with us. She must have chatted w/the weather gods as we had nothing but bright sunshine and light winds forecast for most of her stay.


Headed South through Johnstone Straits with nice weather.


Stopped to fish, but ended up watching a pod of Orcas along the shore:



Our stop for the night was at Forward harbor, where we shared the anchorage with one other boat. There was a pebble beach with a trailhead for a short walk through the woods to the other side of the peninsula,
